Bypassing boot loop on 4K switch module(sm-x-es3-24-p)

I was able to get my switch to go into Rommon and get out of the Booting Loop. 

From the router prompt:  hw-module subslot 1/0 error-recovery password_reset

( I also tried hw-module subslot 1/0 maintenance enable). 

Then type: hw-module session 1/0

The switch card will have “switch>” prompt instead of trying to load the config. 

type flash_init to initialize the flash.

You can now delete the bad ios file using “erase flash: “ios filename” or perform any actions needed.

ctrl A, ctrl q to return to router CLI

Once done, do a hw-module subslot 1/0 reload  command from the router and the switch should back to default config.
