1. Pre-Requisites

– Access to ESXi Host via vSphere or remote console
– RHEL 7.4 ISO available in DATA_ESXI AIC datastore
– Default ship password available
– Administrative privileges on the VM host

2. Procedure

2.1. VM Preparation

1. Shut Down the Target VM (ACAS or IPSMGT): Right-click the VM → Shut Down Guest OS → Confirm
2. Mount the RHEL 7 ISO: Edit VM settings → CD/DVD Drive → Datastore ISO File → Browse to: DATA_ESXI AIC → select rhel7_x86_x64_canes_sw_install.iso → Ensure ‘Connect at power on’ is checked
