WinZip 27

PROBLEM:

After patching, WINZIP is showing trial version after update to WINZIP 27. When trying to apply Winzip license file from IAVM\Winzip folder it failed.

SOLUTION:

Verify WINZIP is version 27 (as of FEB 2024)

If an older version, uninstall it.

Reinstall Version 27 from the patch disk \ IAVM\ WINZIP Folder.

Show all Files and Folders

C:\ProgramData

DELETE WINZIP Folder

Reopened WINZIP as admin

Skip the training and close the program. It will recreate new C:\ProgramData\WINZIP folder

From Patch Disk \ IAVM\WinZip folder, right click WinZip.wzmul and click Register

Pat yourself in the back if you see the message “you have successfully registered WINZIP”
